Sales Assistant - Indianapolis, IN

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts. This includes inside sales tasks, customer service, outbound marketing, customer retention efforts and contract renewals.

 

Duties:

  • Heavily work all specification/job board and bid sites to identify sales opportunities
  • Follow up on open Field Sales quotes and formulate quotes from inbound requests
  • Prepare Submittal packages on larger jobs, as needed.
  • Perform outbound prospecting and lead generation – build sales funnel for outside sales
  • General administrative functions – trade organization renewals, maintain sales and customer folders in shared directory.
  • Assist with Customer Surveys
  • Field incoming Sales and Service calls and directo to appropriate team members, as needed.

 

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven, self-starter with strong work ethi
  • Ability to actively listen to a customer’s needs
  • Desire to learn the industry best practices and products thoroughly, over time, to be able to market properly and support customers.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Sales/Marketing experience or interest in sales is preferred
  • Previous CRM experience (HubSpot/Salesforce) is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Service Supervisor - St. Louis, MO

Absolute Water Technologies is a rapidly growing High Purity Water Treatment company servicing the Midwest. We are a professional organization that promotes personal growth and sharing in the team’s success. Experience in service job, or trade, preferred. Willing to train with career progression paths. $1000 bonus paid after each phase of the training is completed.

Generally, work performed indoors in all commercial settings.

Compensation includes guaranteed full-time salary, performance bonus, health benefits, profit sharing, 15 days paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, professional training opportunities, wellness program, additional on-call compensation and company provided 401k contribution.

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing all functions of assigned branches including the service department and customer satisfaction.

  • Delivery and placement of water treatment equipment
  • Exchange Service Deionization Tanks
  • Conducting System Sanitizations (System Loops)
  • Component Replacements
  • Conduct and record basic water readings and operating parameters of equipment

This is a mix of field service work and office work.

Specific Required Skills/Traits:

  • Ability to communicate professionally in both oral and written form.

  • Ability to actively listen to a customer’s needs.
  • Leadership ability – Ability to lead by example and get results through coaching and holding people accountable for actions and performance.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power-point). Or trainable to do so.
  • Sense of ownership – take initiative and solve problems
  • Ability to be available for scheduled on-call service response.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
  • Drug Free and able to comply with random drug test as required by our customers.
  • Ability to push/pull at times 250 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 95 lbs.

Specific Duties/Projects

  • Ensures all technicians are performing at an acceptable level and are working efficiently.
  • Is the custodian of assigned assets including fleet, building operations, etc.
  • Completes assigned special projects.
  • Ensures all equipment is maintained and calibrated, as needed.
  • Ensures invoicing is completed in a timely manner for time and material jobs.
  • Is responsible for procuring any special equipment.
  • Serves as technical support for customers and Absolute Water staff.
  • Conducts site reviews for quality and procedural compliance.
  • Works to support the assigned branch’s ability to meet or exceed the sales and operating income budget.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Management or comparable experience in a management role.

Field Sales Representative - Water Treatment Consultant -
All Locations

Absolute Water Technologies is looking for sales representatives in multiple locations to support
expansion plans. Some positions are in more developed markets versus some which are strategic
growth areas. Preferably looking for a candidate who is familiar with the high purity water
treatment industry, water treatment industry in general, or a has a technical sales background and
ability and desire to immerse themselves in the industry knowledge to successfully sell through
being a knowledgeable resource to the potential customer.

This is not an account manager position; it is a new sales position with an emphasis on growing new business and market share for the assigned territory.

Job Description:

  • Perform sales calls to acquire new business in high purity water treatment. Many selfcultivating funnel building and cold calls.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with engineers and trade allies in assigned territory to bring on new sites within their network.
  • Complete accurate quotes and ability to follow company SOP’s.
  • Ability to help design basic water systems once trained.
  • Assist with a marketing plan for assigned territory.
  • Attend industry trade shows and organizations to identify sales leads and make meaningful contact with potential customers.
  • Develop or recommend sales/marketing strategy to establish contact with potential.
  • Can require at times after hours work occasionally due to timing of networking events.
  • 10-20% travel required outside of a regular workday. Most prospects within a 100-mile
    radius.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience in a field sales role performing prospecting and business to business cold calls (water industry experience a bonus).

Specific:

  • Experience performing cold calls and other means to cultivate sales and grow the sales
    funnel.
  • Experience with technical sales a plus.
  • Demonstrated success with B2B sales. 
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both oral and written form.
  • Driven self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to actively listen to a customer’s needs.
  • Desire to learn and adhere to the industry best practices and products thoroughly to
    properly design systems and consult customers.
  • Knowledge in formulating professional sales quotes and presentations.
  • Skilled in public speaking.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and standard company operating procedures.
