Division Manager, Absolute Water Technologies
Rick has over 30 years of experience with the direct management and program development of complex water and steam distribution systems in the built environment. Rick joined Absolute Water Technologies in June of this year.
He has predominantly worked within the healthcare industry over the last 13 years. Developing Water Management Programs for some of our nation’s most trusted healthcare networks and individual, independent regional hospitals. Currently, Rick oversees the development of our South Division while also pursuing Strategic Partnerships for Absolute Water Technologies.
Additionally, Rick spent nearly 20 years in property operations, construction, and facilities management. He held positions as Vice President, Executive Director, and Manager of Operations for major international gaming, hospitality, and commercial property corporations. His years of experience with building water and steam infrastructures have aided in the review, implementation, and successful execution of Water Management Programs and the delivery and installation of water treatment solutions.
Rick has a focused passion on the high-purity water solutions related to the Sterile Processing Industry. He is currently active with AAMI Working Group (WG-95), which is responsible for developing ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 Water for the processing of medical devices. He is working on a supporting Technical Information Report (TIR), TIR119, “Guidance on healthcare implementation and use of ANSI/AAMI ST108: 2023.”
The TIR has four subcommittees. He is active in all committees but is the Chair of the subcommittee “Multi-Disciplinary Team.” This subcommittee is responsible for expanding the direction that ST108 is providing around water management program development, team engagement, risk analysis, and data analysis.
